We’re pleased to invite you to EXPEDITION TWO, a unique summit designed to reflect on progress, share insights, and shape the next phase of climate action across the live music and Film & TV sectors in Liverpool and beyond.

This event marks the one-year follow-up to Liverpool’s journey as the world’s first UN Accelerator City for Climate Action, and will bring together leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across local government and the creative and climate industries to share learnings.

ABOUT EXPEDITION TWO

In 2024, Liverpool offered the live music and Film/TV sectors a city-wide testbed to pioneer deep decarbonisation. Over the past year, nine Accelerator Pilots have trialled new models, ways of working, and partnerships aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and phasing out fossil fuels.

Expedition Two is where we bring it all together.

Expect keynote sessions from leading voices in both sectors, open thematic discussions on the barriers and breakthroughs of the past year, and a showcase of the most impactful experiments – with a focus on what’s ready to scale and export and opportunities for development.

This is not a conference. It’s a continuation of a joint enterprise – a space for leaders, decision-makers, and doers to evaluate, iterate, and accelerate.
