We are thrilled to announce our annual celebration dinner will be held on Saturday 12th October. The Henry Yates Thompson Celebration Dinner is an absolutely gorgeous feast for the senses and this year will be no exception.

On the evening, we will captivate our guests as we transform our spectacular venue from the tranquillity created by our green botanical space into the azure waters of the Octopus’s Garden. Our glorious building will be bathed in illuminations and our caterers will be delivering a sumptuous feast.

The Henry Yates Thompson dinner is named after the man whose generosity allowed the Palm House to become a reality. In 1896, the Liverpool publishing entrepreneur gifted £10,000 to construct the ‘great conservatory’ of Sefton Park for the benefit of the people of Liverpool. The Palm House with its exotic plants and statues, became the centrepiece of Sefton Park and is now a grade ll* listed building.

Our annual dinner is a celebration of the Palm House, its history and place within our beloved city. There will be first class entertainment throughout what will be a magical and joyous event.

To commemorate the generosity of our original benefactor, we would like to invite you to join us! Your support is greatly appreciated, and we hope to see you there.

Ticket includes:
Cocktail on Arrival, Four course dinner, table wine and an unforgettable night of incredible entertainment.
