Join Liverpool ONE for this festive season’s most magical journey departing from Chavasse Park and heading for the snowy North Pole.

Departing from Chavasse Park for the snowy North Pole, the Christmas Express will transport guests to a special pop-up polar party with music, glittering decorations, and lots to do!

Together with the jolly station master and his fun team of porters, expect plenty of treats including hot chocolate, postcard decorating, singing, and Christmas stories brought to life with live theatre in the most captivating winter wonderland.

Make the merriest of memories with the whole family aboard the Christmas Express at the Polar Adventure on Chavasse Park, Liverpool ONE.

Adult tickets must be purchased in conjunction with a paid child ticket.


  1. The Polar Adventure event is best suited to children aged 3 – 10 and their families.
  2. The children’s ticket price applies to children aged 2 - 16 years. Adult price applies to those aged 17 and over. Children under 2 go free providing they share a train seat with their parent/guardian.
  3. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while on the train to and at the Polar Adventure event.
  4. All ticket sales for the Polar Adventure event are final. No refunds are available except in the circumstances listed in paragraphs 5 and 6.
  5. You must provide proof of ticket purchase at the ticket office in order to ride the train and to gain entry into the Polar Adventure event. This can be a printout of the ticket or the ticket on your smartphone. Liverpool ONE is not responsible for lost/stolen tickets.
  6. This Polar Adventure event will go ahead in all weather providing it is safe to do so. No refunds or exchanges will be offered due to weather conditions unless the train or event is unable to run for your specific time slot, in which case a full refund will be provided.
  7. A refund will be provided if your booked train is unable to run for any operational reasons and we are unable to reallocate you to another train that day.
  8. Tickets are only valid for the booked date and time of your train. You must be at the train platform at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. If you arrive late and miss your booked train time we will endeavour to fit you on the next available train the same day, to the extent there is space to do so, however if there are no further trains available that day it is not possible to change your booking to another date and you will not be able to ride the train or access the Polar Adventure event. A refund is not available on any missed tickets.
  9. Pushchairs may not be taken on the train. There are a limited number of pushchairs available to borrow in the North Pole. Pushchairs may be left in the pushchair park at your own risk.
  10. You must comply with all safety guidance and instructions with respect to the train ride as displayed and/or communicated by staff. You must keep all arms, legs, heads and members of your group inside the train. Do not lean out or attempt to disembark while the train is moving. Adults are responsible for their children's compliance with our safety rules.
  11. We apologise that wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on the train however you may still enjoy the North Pole area. Please see a member of staff for access assistance with your ticket.
  12. You may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes while at the Polar Adventure event and you consent to the use of your image in this way. CCTV is in operation during the event.
  13. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Liverpool ONE or SGA Productions Ltd, admission is to the Polar Adventure event is at your own risk and Liverpool ONE and SGA Productions Ltd do not accept any responsibility for loss, damage, or injury that may occur during your attendance. You are responsible for the safety of your personal possessions at all times during the event.
  14. The experiences during the event which are included in the ticket price for each paying customer are:
    Hot chocolate (one per person, please inform our team of any allergies)
    Glitter face paint station (one face painting per person) Do not apply the glitter to or near the eyes or mouth. All cosmetics can on rare occasions cause allergic reactions. The product should never be applied to sensitive or broken skin.
    Postcard decorating (one per person)
    Storytelling
    Singing and dancing.
  15. All the experiences are done as part of a group.
  16. This is not a grotto and there is no opportunity to meet Santa.
  17. You must follow any instructions given by the event team.
  18. No re-entry to the event if you need to leave the North Pole area for any reason. You can expect to be in the North Pole area for approx. 30 - 45 mins.
  19. No dogs or other pets allowed in the North Pole area or on the train, except for assistance animals such as guide dogs.
  20. Liverpool ONE reserves the right at any time to cancel or amend events or activities without notice.
  21. This event is operated by SGA Productions Ltd.
  22. Liverpool ONE may amend these terms and conditions without notice. Please direct all comments and feedback to info@liverpool-one.com.
  23. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any dispute relating to them subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
