You'll Never Walk: The Autobiography of Andy Grant

Andy Grant joined the Royal Marines at 17, three years later he was blown up during a foot patrol in Afghanistan. Andy was left with a broken sternum, a broken leg, a broken elbow and shrapnel lodged in both forearms. To add to his life-changing injuries, Andy also had a life-changing decision to make. Against doctor’s advice and pleas from his father, to fulfil his desire to be able to run again, Andy chose to have his leg amputated. A lifelong LFC fan, Andy experienced life’s dark sense of humour, when his LFC tattoo was reduced from ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ to a curt, ‘You’ll Never Walk…’

It was, however, not to be quite so prophetic. Andy went onto claim two gold medal at Prince Harry’s Invictus Games, broke the world record for becoming the world’s fastest single leg amputee in Wavertree Athletics Centre and featured in ITV documentary Paragon.

You'll Never Walk: The Autobiography Of Andy Grant, is an incredible story of a Scouser who overcame incredible trauma to thrive in the aftermath of obstacles and life-changing experiences. This unique and exclusive pre-publication event will change your understanding of resilience and what can be achieved in the face of adversity.
