Liverpool Community Choir under the leadership of Musical Director Ian Davidson M.A, B.A (Hons), FHEA will perform its repertoire of popular songs and musical theatre before introducing special guests Bangor Ladies Choir from Northern Ireland.  This will be a joyous collaboration between two choirs singing classics old and new.

Bangor Ladies Choir is based in Bangor Northern Ireland on the coast of County Down by the shores of Belfast Lough and the membership stands at 65 ladies.  Under the expert guidance and direction of Christine Crutchley who took on the role of Musical Director in September 2017, the choir is performing to the highest standard and enjoys entertaining many audiences during the choral season.  Christine is ably supported by Joanne Cruse our very talented Accompanist and together they make a great Music Team.

Being part of the choir requires two very important elements - dedication and commitment - and it is evident that, over the years, these have remained at the core of the choir, demonstrating the loyalty of the choir members not only to each other but to keeping the talent of choral singing alive and well! Excellent performances just don't happen and a lot of hard work and effort is put in at every rehearsal, however, the camaraderie, enjoyed by everyone, is also a very special part of being a Choir Member.

The Choir has shared the stage with many celebrities including Aled Jones, Hayley Westenra, Lesley Garrett to name but a few and, in the past the Choir has travelled to USA, Canada, Europe, UK and ROI singing in many fabulous venues including the European Parliament Buildings in both Strasbourg and Brussels, York Minster, Winchester Cathedral to name just a few.  In 2005 the then local Council conferred the status of Borough Ambassador on Bangor Ladies Choir – the first conferment ever to an external Organisation outside of the Council Membership.  Even after the recent merger of local Councils, the Choir will always remain Ambassadors for the town of Bangor and indeed Northern Ireland irrespective of where their travels take them – across the Province or across the world.

Bangor Ladies Choir look forward to sharing the stage with the Liverpool Community Choir to help raise funds for a much loved Charity – the Children’s Hospice – Zoe’s Place.  It promises to be a wonderful evening with superb music!
