It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas down on Market Place.
Imaginarium welcomes you to come along and join us for festive opening weekend with ice skating, lanterns, fire dancing, music, snow, outdoor food, bar & festive fun!
Friday 29th November
2pm – 5.30pm Ice-skating, with music, snow, outdoor bar and crepes!
6.30pm Community lantern parade starting by the Flat Iron building on Eccleston St, with drummers and performers.
7pm – 8pm FREE Outdoor performances on The Piazza at Market Place- Fire dancers, drummers, singers, skaters, Prescot Primary School choir, an outdoor bar with crepes, mulled cider and wine, fizz and hot chocolate, and the official opening of the Imaginarium Bistro.
8pm – 9pm Ice-skating, with music, snow, outdoor bar and crepes!
Saturday 30th November
2pm – 9pm Ice-skating, with music, snow, outdoor bar and crepes!
Sunday 1st December
2pm – 6pm Ice-skating, with music, snow, outdoor bar and crepes!
The Piazza at Market Place
The Piazza is an outdoor amphitheatre space which will be programmed with creative community activity throughout the year by Imaginarium Theatre working in partnership with Knowsley Council. On The Piazza the new Imaginarium Bistro will serve Italian and Mediterranean food and provide an exciting venue for cultural, heritage and family events. It will also be a focal point for community containing information about Imaginarium Theatre and The Shakespeare North Playhouse
The Ice Rink on the piazza is brought to you by our partners Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
