This brand new festival for Liverpool, taking place on 5 & 6 August, is set against the stunning Victorian backdrop of the World Museum, City Library and St. George’s Hall and Gardens.
With weekend tickets priced at just £89 (inclusive of booking fee), you can expect a glorious mix of incredible music, comedy and fun – all within a few hundred yards of Lime Street station.
The main stage music for the weekend will be on The Great Exhibition stage. The second stage will deliver different delights across the weekend and will be called The Wonders Of The Age stage on the Saturday and The Wonders of the Age stage on Sunday.
THE STAGES
At HOPE & GLORY you’ll find delights across the whole festival area.
THE GREAT EXHIBITION STAGE is where you’ll find some of the greatest acts in the world to some of the very best new artists in the country leading the HOPE & GLORY party charge.
The first of our incredible headliners HACIENDA CLASSICAL will be joined by over 50 more artists and bands across the weekend. The first of these to be announced for THE GREAT EXHIBITION stage are THE FRATELLIS, TOM CHAPLIN and REVEREND & THE MAKERS. The WONDERS OF THE AGE STAGE will play host to some of the the very best new artists in the country with The Shimmer Band, The Blinders, Coquin Migale and Vynce already announced. There will even be fun in the changeovers between acts with the outrageous church of the ULTIMATE POWER rocking your world.
The WONDERS OF THE AGE STAGE will deliver different delights across the weekend from live music to comedy and even the first ever Liverpool International air guitar competition with the very best of Europe’s opponents of the invisible six string windmill-ing, sliding and moshing across the stage for your pleasure.
Across the festival site there will be pop up ‘soap box’ performances including magic, acoustic performances, spoken word and some of the wildest and most fun things you’ll ever see. Yep – we’re having a party!
