Paul Scraton’s Ghosts on the Shore: Travels along Germany's Baltic Coast blends travelogue, history, family memory and fiction to create a portrait of place that lies between two borders - the former Cold War dividing line between East and West Germany, and the island of Usedom and the German border with Poland.  Paul, who was born in Lancashire and has lived in Berlin since 2001, is the editor in chief of Elsewhere: A Journal of Place and is a regular contributor to Hidden Europe magazine and Caught by the River. He is also the co-author with Paul Sullivan of Mauerweg: Stories from the Berlin Wall Trail and regularly leads author-walks along the mostly invisible border in city.

Marcel Krueger latest book Babushka's Journey - The Dark Road to Stalin's Wartime Camps is a travel memoir exploring the wartime experiences of his grandmother and her journey to Russia in 1945 Marcel is a German writer and translator living in Dundalk, Ireland who writes about places, their history and the journeys in between. For Berlin – A Literary Guide for Travellers he has provided new translations of such diverse German writers as Wolfgang Borchert and Joerg Fauser, and his articles and essays have been published in the Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Slow Travel Berlin, and CNN Travel. Marcel also works as the Books Editor of Elsewhere - A Journal of Place.
