Liverpool Comic Con 2018

More guests have now been announced for Liverpool Comic Con and it is out of this galaxy!


 

Dirk Benedict - The A Team

Dirk Benedict is an American movie, television and stage actor and author. He is best known for playing the characters Lieutenant Templeton "Faceman" Peck in The A-Team television series and Lieutenant Starbuck in the original Battlestar Galactica film and television series.

Dirk will be joining us on both days of the event.

Lou Ferrigno - The Incredible Hulk

As an actor, he is best known for his title role in the CBS television series The Incredible Hulk and vocally reprising the role in subsequent animated and computer-generated incarnations. He has also appeared in Sinbad of the Seven Seas and Hercules, and in cameo roles in the sitcom The King of Queens and the 2009 comedy I Love You, Man.

Lou will be attending Liverpool Comic Con on both days of the event.

Paul McGann - The Eighth Doctor Who

Liverpool's very own Paul McGann came to prominence for portraying Percy Toplis in the 1986 television serial The Monocled Mutineer. He later starred in the 1987 dark comedy Withnail and I, and as the eighth incarnation of the Doctor in the 1996 Doctor Who television film, a role he reprised in more than 70 audio dramas and the 2013 mini-episode "The Night of the Doctor". McGann is also known for playing Lieutenant William Bush in the Hornblower TV series.

Ian Mcneice - Doctor Who, Ace Ventura

Ian McNeice is an English actor and voice actor from Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK. A very familiar face in TV and Film where most people will remember him as Fulton Greenwall, the man hired to bring Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) out of retirement in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls and as Winston Churchill in Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.

Ian will be attending Liverpool Comic Con on both days of the event.

Sophie Aldred - Doctor Who

Sophie Aldred is an English actress and television presenter. She portrayed the seventh Doctor's (Sylvestor McCoy) companion Ace in the television series Doctor Who during the late 1980s. 90's kids will also remember her as one of the presenters of Playdays and Minnie The Mini Magician in ZZZap! Throughout the 2000s she worked extensively as a voice-over artist for TV adverts and has also provided voices for animated series such as Bob the Builder, Sergeant Stripes, Bananas in Pyjamas, El Nombre, Peter Rabbit, Noddy in Toyland, The Magic Key and Dennis & Gnasher.

Sophie will be attending on Sunday 11th March 2018 only.

Joonas Suotamo - Chewbacca in Star Wars

Joonas Viljami Suotamo is a 6'10" Finnish born pro basketball player, known for playing Chewbacca alongside Peter Mayhew in Star Wars The Force Awakens. As well as starring in The Last Jedi, Joonas will also be playing all of Chewbaccas' scenes in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story film due out in May 2018.

Joonas will be attending Liverpool Comic Con on both days of the event.

Gail Kim - WWE

Gail Kim is a professional wrestler, professional wrestling valet, model and actress from Canada. She is currently signed to Impact Wrestling as a producer, where she is also a record setting seven-time Knockouts Champion. She is also known for her two stints in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where she won the WWE Women's Championship in her first match.

Gail will be attending Liverpool Comic Con on both days of the event.

Jorgito Vargas Jr. - Power Rangers

Jorgito "Jorge" Vargas Jr. is a Canadian actor with a TV and Movie career spanning nearly 30 years, he is best known for his role as Blake Bradley, the Navy Thunder Ranger on the television series Power Rangers Ninja Storm and Power Rangers DinoThunder. Jorge has also made appearances on Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Jorge will be attending Liverpool Comic Con on both days of the event.

Jeremy Bulloch - Boba Fett in Star Wars

Jeremy Bulloch is best known for his role as the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy. Besides Star Wars, Jeremy has appeared in numerous British television and film productions, including Doctor Who, Robin of Sherwood and the James Bond movie - Octopussy.

Jeremy will be attending both days of the event.

Hattie Hayridge - Holly in Red Dwarf

Hattie Hayridge is an English comedian and actress, best known for her role as Holly in Red Dwarf during the third, fourth and fifth series. But she actually played Hilly first - the computer AI on board a version of Red Dwarf where all the crew are female. Known for her deadpan humour, Hattie was a major figure in the 90's British comedy circuit, touring alongside acts such as Lee Evans, Jack Dee, Julian Clary and Paul Merton.

Hattie will be attending Liverpool Comic Con on Sunday 11th March 2018 only.

Taker.Uk - The Undertaker Cosplayer

One of the most popular figures on the UK convention circuit, Taker.UK brings the biggest superstar in the history of Wrestling to Liverpool comic con.

The Taker.UK experience will give you a unique opportunity to not only meet the Deadman but also enter his bespoke casket for pictures. You may even get your hands on the WWE Heavyweight Championship belt!

Cosplay enthusiasts, Sci-Fi fans and comic book aficionados can expect a comic con from another dimension. The high profile guest line ups will be bigger, there will be retro arcade game cabs, magnificent full size set and prop builds including spacecraft and vehicles from your favourite Sci-Fi films and TV series and Q&A sessions with the most well known celebrities in the industry. All photo ops with set builds, spacecraft and vehicles will be FREE OF CHARGE and included in the admission ticket price. With so much to see and do, there are weekend tickets that include guaranteed early entry from £31.90 (inc. admin fees) and individual day tickets from £16.50 (inc. admin fees) there are discounted rates for the under 10s and under 5s go free.

Weekend tickets and Early Entry tickets will guarantee early entry to the event from 9:00am. Standard Tickets will allow queued access to the event from 11:00am onwards.

Away from the Main Bridge there will be a number of special quarters including cosplay changing facilities for our cosplaying communities, Meet and Greet zones, signing and autograph areas and a plethora of merchandise and trading stands.

Dirk Benedict, who played Lieutenant Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck in the A-Team and Lieutenant Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica is the first Face of the event to be announced, Dirk will be using his FTL Drive to jump his ship to Merseyside in March 2018.

Liverpool Comic Con will be a meeting ground for like-minded people from across the galaxy and all parts of the universe.

Accessible Tickets with Priority Entrance

We have a dedicated team of customer assistants waiting to help you get the right ticket for your requirements. Comic Con Liverpool customers with specific access requirements will need to register these details with our Customer Care team when they buy their ticket.

Everybody’s requirements will be different and we want to ensure your enjoyment of the event, therefore, tickets can only be booked by calling our Customer Care team on 0344 335 0437, or by visiting our on-site Box Office at the Echo Arena (Please check opening times below).

Customers will receive tickets allowing priority access to Comic Com Liverpool, avoiding the queue at the main entrance and giving priority for autographs and photo opportunities.


 

Customers will need to show their accessibility priority tickets to our venue stewards on arrival.

Our on-site Box Office based at Echo Arena Liverpool is open on Fridays from 9am-6pm.

On event days, our on-site Box Office opens at midday and remains open until the main act is on stage.
