Liverpool Town Hall Tours
Liverpool Town Hall is offering monthly guided tours of this stunning Grade 1 listed building, Come in and see this magnificent Georgian Building and hear some of its history from the City Hall's guide. All tours last approximately an hour and a half and are chargeable at £5.50 per person (children under 16 years of age are free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult).
Town Hall Silver Tour
As part of the Liverpool Biennial 2018 Liverpool Town Hall is delighted to present a series of fascinating ‘silver tours’ giving visitors the rare opportunity to gain a greater insight into ten amazing pieces of silver and hear some of the amazing stories behind them.
In 1600 Liverpool owned 20 silver vessels. However, over 400 years later, Liverpool Town Hall now has an impressive collection of civic silver.
These guided tours will also take you on an incredible journey through the history and architecture of one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings.
With our knowledgeable guides, discover the beautiful and historical interior including the grand main staircase and adjoining reception rooms, the Small and Large Ballrooms, the stunning Dining Room, the Council Chamber auditorium and the Hall of Remembrance, which hosts Liverpool’s Roll of Honour to over 13,000 gallant Military men from Liverpool who lost their lives during the First World War.
