[short_description]
"When I woke up, I thought I had failed. Now I realize I didn't."
Mars Island, a new and experimental band, based in the hearth of Liverpool, combines art and live music to tell a story. A story about your friend, your colleague or even your own brother. A story in which we all feel apart in some way, but would never dare to speak about.
Friday 1st of June, The Bombed Out church opens it gates as a sanctuary, where everyone is welcome, regardless of the weight they carry. It is a night focused around mental health, how it affects people, and what it means for their lives.
There will be:
-Live music
-Videographics
-Wine and cake sales
-Rerpesentatives from mental health organisations
-Art Lipa primary school studens
-Art from Liverpool Street Artist Jay Wheeler
-A cozy atmosphere
Doors open at 8pm.
There will some seating, but we encourage to bring whatever makes you comfortable.
We promise a night of change, and an experience you will never forget.
