Nordic Church 138 Park Lane, Liverpool, L1 8HG

The Nordic Church and Cultural Centre, also known locally as the Gustav Aldoph Kyrka, the Scandinavian Seamen’s Church and the Swedish Church was built in 1884. It stands today as one of only 4 octagonal church buildings in the UK. It was the first Swedish church built overseas.

The wooden boarded floor in the Chapel along with the eight internal walls, that meet at a high towering apex, give the room an incredible natural acoustic that is ideal for chamber and solo instrumental music.

Often candlelit at night the Nordic Church is both an aural and visual feast.
