This concert features two classic works featuring the human voice by Luciano Berio: his groundbreaking Sequenza III is virtuosic and very funny; and in Naturale the recorded performance of Sicilian folk song forms the spine of one of his most sincere and haunting pieces. The Angel Field Festival and Pixels Ensemble is also proud to present the world premiere of a new work for clarinet and piano by Antonio Agostini, and the exciting programme concludes with a major cycle for voice and ensemble by maestro Giacomo Manzoni.
