Do you hate your job? So do Martin and Harry. Waiting in a cheap hotel room for a call that may never come, more secrets are revealed than intended and what should have been just another day in the office, quickly unravels with sinister consequences.
Written by acclaimed Liverpool playwright Oliver Back (SHEEP, 12x8, String, Playtime) and directed by long time collaborator, Emma Turner (12x8, Playtime, Vincent River), Professional is the first solo production from the pair's theatre company, Silent Gutter. Their first co-production, Playtime (2019) received the ‘Weird and Wonderful Award’ in the Liverpool Echo’s annual theatre review.
Silent Gutter are a new writing theatre company who empower Northern voices and amplify their stories in worlds that swerve from the familiar to the fantastical.

Disabled Access
There are 8 steps from Hope Street to enter the building. We currently have an application in process to have a lift installed, however there is not yet a date when this will be completed by. Once inside the building, everything is on one level and there are no further steps. There are accessible toilets. We always operate unreserved seating. Customers who require additional room or support should make themselves known to the Front of House Team on arrival.
