Roger McGough, the author of over a hundred books of poetry for adults and children brings an Exuberant new collection of poems called joinedupwriting ranges from forgotten friendships and the idiosyncrasies of family life to the trauma of war and contemporary global politics. Recently Meghan Markle chose Roger’s poem VOW to read at a wedding in Rome over the weekend.

Roger will be supported in the first part of the event by Poet, broadcaster & comedian Ian McMillan and Olympic composer Luke Carver Goss, who present a hilarious night of words, music & breath-taking comedy, featuring songs, stories and a musical created out of thin air!
