Did you know that International Talk Like A Pirate Day is actually a thing? And at North Shore Troubadour we love all things sea related so it seemed only natural to throw a massive party for it!
All the staff will be given the day off and be replaced by actual pirates! There will be nautically themed cocktails, decor and a host of entertainment, performances and even some sing-a-long sea shanties.
Ensuring you wear your best pirate or sea-inspired attire is highly recommended. Pirates, wenches, parrots, mermaids, fish and everything in-between all welcome!

Another motive for our party; we are also very conscious of the carbon footprint venues can have, yet it can actually be financially crippling and massive struggle for smaller, independent venues to go green! Our goal is to ensure we have gotten rid of plastic cups in time for our 1st Pirate Party (either with reusable cups and a glass washer or if not biodegradable ones) and all proceeds made from ShipFaced 2019 will be donated to the Marine Conservation Projects at the Wildlife Trust who work day in day out to provide and maintain an environment within which our beautiful marine life can thrive.
We invite you to bring your own rum and/or water vessel (reusable cup and/or bottle for example) which we will wash and refill for you as and when required (please bring it empty!) We have vessels of course for those who choose to use ours as well.
THE perfect evening for any fellow seamen. sea-lovers, inner-pirates, eco-warriors, merpeople, fancy dress fanatics and general entertainment lovers!
