Southport Comic Con 2017, takes place on Sunday 25th June (10am- 5pm) and is a family fun day event, celebrating all things related to superheroes, and sci-fi such as Star Wars, Dr Who and other popular TV related programmes. This follows along the lines of original traditional comic con's first established in the UK in the late 1960's early 1970's. And to host this event we are using two delightful venues! Splashworld will host the main exhibition area featuring lots of exciting exhibitors selling Marvel Comics, DC Comics, from vintage to present day, as well as toys, t-shirts, Manga and other related memorabilia! Whilst Pleasureland (just across the road from Splashworld) will host in their 'Casablanca Family Arena facility' the convention's competition's! We should like to point out that the 'Casablanca Family Arena Bar' will be open and accessible for attendees of the comic con to use from 12 midday until competitions start, as a place for recreation and refreshment and meet up with fellow attendees!

Last but not least...advanced ticket purchasers will automatically be entered into the comic con midday prize draw, with 25 names being chosen at random from our draw box! But that's not all...there will also be competitions for all the family to enter and take part and enjoy, including cos-play and dancing, with junior and senior category's, and prizes and certificates to be won for both! Junior category 3yrs-13yrs, senior category 14yrs up! Competition's will begin from 2pm and finish by 3pm as an approximate guide. Generally, people from all walks of life love to attend comic cons today and Southport Comic Con is no different in that respect, as fans of all ages and gender, really enjoy the cos-play aspect dressing as their favourite superhero characters! So if you have never been to a comic con before, here's an opportunity to do so!
