Yolav is a stand-up comedian from a ravaged, war-torn country that no longer exists. Graham is his hapless interpreter. He has no wish to be on stage, nor does he have any understanding of how comedy works.. They are currently on a tour of indefinite length due to visa complications. Having arrived in the UK, Yolav is trying to break the West before the East breaks him.
