UNDER MY SKIRT BY JENNIFER MCMILLAN

Lift up my skirt and be served a flirtatious afternoon tea

‘Under my skirt’ faces the audience with a social situation in which they are comfortable; afternoon tea served with scones and jam. However, the show occurs underneath the artist’s skirt. Yes, you read correctly, you will be invited by Jennifer McMillan to step ‘under’ her skirt in this thought-provoking, humorous and flirtatious performance.

POUR AND SERVE BY CAITLIN GLEESON

Have a drink with a bartender who flips the script on gender, power and ‘harmless’ banter.

Six audience members sit at a bar as Caitlin Gleeson pours drinks and serves humorous, disturbing and real stories from her time bartending. This immersive solo performance shows with unsettling clarity how language is intrinsic to a culture that permits violence against women.

Please notice that by booking the ‘Double Bill’ you will be watching both shows. Each show lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. This event is 18+

Part of On the Verge festival (19th to 22nd October), produced by Hope Street Limited.
