White Mink debuts in Liverpool at our glorious Spiegeltent! Indulge in an experience which promises a little magic and a dash of time-travel. Be transported back to the days of Swing and the Speakeasy. Vintage harmonies, incredible live jazz and a blend of entertainment that’s heady, intoxicating and surprisingly fresh. This is the vintage experience that’s not afraid to mix things up musically, re-imagining swing for the 21st century.
Look skyward, to be hypnotised by our entrancing fire dancer, as she unfurls in a display of colour and intensity from the aerial hoop.
In other words, it’s going to be one heck of a party. Knees up. Dance. Rave. Disco – the names don’t matter because White Mink is unique. Nothing else fuses so many influences. Nothing else has so many fabulous entertainers.
That’s why, when guests said goodnight at the end of last year’s sell-out event, they begged us for more. We’ve made them wait a year, but that’s okay because nothing else lasts in the memory like the magic of White Mink.

★ ELECTRIC SWING CIRCUS
A hugely popular fusion of saucy 20’s swing and stomping electro beats. ESC are behind their own annual SWINGAMAJIG festival in Birmingham but it’s always been in the live arena that they really come into their own. Deserving of the tag ‘Festival Veterans’, the ESC always bring the party!
★ GYPSIES OF BOHEMIA
Manchester’s first jazz manouche non-purists, Gypsies of Bohemia are an acoustic group who perform modern pop favorites like you’ve never heard them before.
The band capture all the Parisienne charm and sophistication of the Hot Club de France whilst putting their own unique spin on hits by Britney Spears, Blondie, Girls Aloud and even Iron Maiden. Expect foot stomping rhythms, exhilarating arrangements and virtuosic lead guitar lines producing an authentic, unique and highly entertaining sound and vision.
★ DJ EMMA CLAIR
Creator of sell-out Manchester based club night ‘Prohibition,’ Emma Clair has carved out her own sound as a producer and artist via recent releases Bootleg Beat and Egad Mister Cad (Freshly Squeezed). Her ‘takes no prisoners’ style of mixing takes the crowd to the very edge, with loops and acapellas added live in the mix, giving her the well deserved reputation as one of the UK’s leading electro-swing DJs.
★ ABAGAIL NENUPHAR
Abagail delights with performances are lavish treats for the eye…… Unfurling displays of colour and operatic intensity, her daredevil circus acts are served with balletic elegance and sensuality. Nénuphar’s experience as a dancer brings a poise and sultry kineticism that is all her own. Mesmerising on the aerial hoop, captivating with silks and demonically entrancing as a fire-dancer, Nenuphar is a unique performer. The wild-spirited daughter of a champion motor-cycle racer, Abagail toured in circuses across India and Ireland, before running away from the circus to become a show in her own right.
