Organisers Jean Gadsby, Ellen Kerr and Elaine Owen are pleased to announce the search is on for nominations for this year’s Merseyside Women of the Year Awards, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool on Friday 30th June.

Covering the whole of the Merseyside, the Merseyside Women of the Year Awards has been designed to highlight the unsung heroines of Merseyside, for their achievements in doing what they do better than all the rest. The event will be attended by leading figures from the public, private and voluntary sectors. More than 450 guests are expected to attend the Awards lunch and main sponsor Michael W Halsall Solicitors will address them prior to presenting the award to the winner.

The Awards event and the associated publicity will provide an excellent platform for the finalists and winners to raise their profiles and to engage with the impressive network of supporters and partners. Guests will include some of the country's most inspirational and influential women.
