A celebration of Liverpool’s thriving food and drink scene. More than 160 talented local chefs and producers will come together to serve up a giant feast in the heart of Sefton Park on 7th and 8th September. Join us to sample some excellent local food and drink, soak up the atmosphere and pick up a few tips from the experts at our demos and master classes.

Liverpool Food & Drink Festival is an annual celebration of the city’s fantastic restaurants, bars, and cafes, as well as some of the finest regional food producers. This year’s festival will launch on 7th and 8th September by transforming Sefton Park into an open-air ‘food heaven’. Come and join us for a weekend of great food, cooking demonstrations and masterclasses from local and celebrity chefs. Enjoy our themed dining areas, beer festival, champagne bar and music stages. We are delighted to welcome back Aiden Byrne to this year’s event, along with TV and food writer Gizzi Erskine, and Dragon’s Den star and food entrepreneur Levi Roots.
Entry is free for children under 14.

THE SHIP & MITRE BEER FESTIVAL

The Ship & Mitre will be bringing their famous beer festival to Sefton Park for the launch weekend. The Ship & Mitre Beer Festival is included in the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival ticket price and will include a staggering 50 real ales, many from across the UK and at least 20 locally produced.

LANSON CHAMPAGNE MARQUEE

Lanson will be showcasing their range of Champagnes during the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival. These will include; Lanson White Label, a new style of Champagne that is fresh, zesty and refreshing, but with a softer off dry character that makes it incredibly drinkable.

HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE GARDEN

Chocaholics will love our tantalising chocolate garden area, featuring the finest chocolate delights, from ‘Chocolate con Churros’ and chilli chocolate to chocolate flavoured wine.
It’s the perfect place to treat yourself to the many chocolate delights on offer.

COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS

One of the most loved parts of the event, the Culinary Talent Theatre, will be hosted by some of the country’s top chefs, as well as established local chefs.
The Culinary Talent Theatre is where you will find the best local talent cooking up a storm alongside celebrity chefs!

CHILDREN'S INTERACTIVE AREA

Returning even bigger and better this year is The Children’s Interactive Zone, which will offer children of all ages an array of exciting and interactive activities.
This year’s Interactive Area will focus on educating families about where food comes from, as well as encouraging them to grow their own!
