The Human League to play exclusive show in

Liverpool’s historic docklands

One of the most influential synthpop bands of all time – The Human League - have confirmed an exclusive headline performance at the icon-ic industrial landscape of Liverpool Waters on 25 May 2017.

Famously described by David Bowie as ‘the future of pop music’, The Human League have had an incredible career to date that has produced some of the most ground breaking music in five different decades.

Celebrating nearly 40 years at the very forefront of electronic music, The Human League will be playing hits from their epoch defining albums Re-production and Travelogue through to Dare, Hysteria and Crash.

Said Phil Oakey: "We're absolutely delighted to be performing this very special show. We love playing for the people of Liverpool, they are properly passionate music fans and we’ve always felt at home in their beautiful city.

“Although we haven’t been there yet from what we’ve heard the setting of Liverpool Waters iconic industrial landscape is pretty unique and will be a perfect backdrop for our music. We can't wait to play there.”

Support comes from 80’s electronic innovators Art of Noise featuring Dudley/Jeczalik/Lanagan. They will reboot their classic album In Visible Silence. This will be a world premiere reworking of this groundbreaking album and their first live performance in 17 years.

To complete this stellar line-up are A Certain Ratio. Discovered by the late great Tony Wilson and signed to Factory Records with label mates Joy Division. A hugely important and influential band, ACR continue to innovate to this day.

With these legendary artists playing only a handful of shows this year and not appearing on the same bill anywhere, this remarkable one-off event offers true electronic music fans a once in a life-time opportunity to see the vanguard of British synthpop in a stunning star-lit location. It really is a show not to be missed.

VIP packages are available with unrestricted close-up views of the stage from an exclusive VIP hub that features a private bar, luxury wash-rooms, concierge desk and gourmet food stalls.
