Adventure Dock is Liverpool’s newest and bounciest family attraction. The aqua park is a giant inflatable obstacle course on the water in Dukes Dock, which is next door to the Iconic Albert Dock on the famous Liverpool Waterfront.
The Adventure Dock course is made up of huge inflatable free-fall slides, trampolines, rafts and barriers. You’ll bounce, splash and slide whilst racing your family & friends around this fun filled course. Anyone from the age of 8 years old will have an amazing time on this unique course, and we will make sure you leave with a huge smile and totally wiped out!

Our course is made up of over 50 elements all joined together to create a serious amount of floating fun, challenges, slides, jumps and drops! Mount Rainier will be towering over the Albert Dock and is our biggest element, once you have climbed to the top, there are a number of adrenalin filled ways to get back to water level! There are a host of Ninja Warrior style features including the Tire Run, Ninja Jump and Dragon Tail. These will challenge your balance and nerve and if you get them wrong, you can enjoy a big splash. Don’t worry if you think this all sounds too intimidating, we have a host of tamer features, including the Moon Balls and Overpass and we are installing plenty of Neptune Steps, which allow very easy access from the water back onto the aqua park! Our park design includes features for differing standards of physical and mental ability, for every gnarly feature we have a mega fun and simple element. You can guarantee parents and children will all come off with a huge smile on their face, this park is crazy fun for multiple family generations!
How It Works
We open on Saturday 5th May 2018 and close on Sunday 28th October 2018. We will be open 7 days a week and you can pre-book your sessions and parties right now! Your session will last 1 hour and includes a 10 minute dryland safety brief at the start, which means you get 50 minutes of play time. Our session price includes all the equipment you need, e.g. a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. You will need to bring a towel and set of swim trunks / swimming costume with you. All participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before their allocated time slot which is used to sign in at reception, collect your wetsuit and then get changed. The entire park is surrounded by brilliant coffee shops, restaurants and places to view your children and friends having the time of their lives at the Adventure Dock. The Adventure Dock is a brilliant venue for a kid’s party, stag do’s, hen do’s, corporate days out, team challenges or an epic day out with your friends. It is also a brilliant facility for schools to mentally and physically challenge their students. We offer a discounted rate of £17 per person if your booking is 4 people or more. The Adventure Dock is located in-between the Big Wheel and Albert Dock right in the middle of Liverpool Waterfront. It is easy to get to no matter how you arrive. You can walk from Liverpool Lime St, Museum of Liverpool, Cruise Liner terminal and ACC Liverpool. If you decided to travel by bus, the C4, C5 and City Link services stop at Albert Dock. Regional Trains arrive at Liverpool Lime Street from which you can walk or grab a taxi down to us. If you travel by car, follow signs to ‘Liverpool Waterfront’ and ‘Albert Dock’. There are a host of car parks around Albert Dock, and Liverpool One car park is less than a 10 minute walk to The Adventure Dock. Our postcode is L3 4AD.
In the 1980’s the entire Liverpool South Dock system was emptied of water and completely dredged. Since then the South Dock system is only used for leisure and tourism and the water quality is very clean. It is well within the EU Bathing Standards and is tested on a monthly basis by our Harbour Master. The Liverpool South Docks system plays host to numerous watersports including wakeboarding and waterskiiing, open water swimming, triathlon events, water polo, sailing, canoeing, rowing and many more.
Who Can Use the park?
The Adventure Dock is a monstrous amount of fun for individuals, friends, families, groups, kids, adults and thrill seekers.
What do I need to bring with me?
You need to bring a towel and swimming costume or swimming trunks with you. Your session price includes the free hire of a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. If you do forget your towel or swimming costume, we do sell these at our reception.
When do I need to arrive for my session?
We suggest all participants arrive at least 30 minutes before there session start time, so there is ample time to get your wetsuit and other safety equipment.
Do I have to be physically fit to be able to participate?
There are plenty of user-friendly features and our amazing Neptune Steps make life super easy to get from the water onto the aqua park. You will need to be prepared to get wet, fall in, balance on some features and climb and negotiate around obstacles. You should be moderately fit to take part.
Do I need to able to swim?
You need to be able to swim 50m on your own, to be allowed on our aqua park.
What are the age limits?
You must be aged 8 or above. There is no upper age limit. All Children (age 8 to 15 inclusive) must be accompanied by an adult. The adult can be on shore or playing on the park with them.
Do I need a Wetsuit? Can I bring my own?
Yes, you need a wetsuit and yes, you can bring your own if you have one. The price of our sessions includes the free hire of a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. If you bring your own wetsuit, there is no additional discount.
Where can I store my possessions?
We have secure lockers on site for participants to store their belongings. Please note that there is a limited number of lockers, and will be on a first come first serve basis.
Are there any changing rooms?
There are basic changing facilities on site, however there will be a limited amount, so please be prepared to wait or change on the dock. Our facilities will include a family changing area and disabled changing room.
Are there showers and toilets on site?
We don’t have access to showers, treat your trip like a day out to the beach, bring a towel and swimming trunks / costume with you. Be prepared to get wet, dry yourself and get changed again. The closest public toilets are in Albert Dock and less than 175m away.
What happens if it’s raining?
Our activities run in all-weather, except those of extreme conditions i.e. lightning and very strong winds. In the event of closure or shortened sessions due to weather, our reception staff will credit your account and rebook you onto another session at your convenience. We know it rains a lot in our British summer and we are the perfect outdoor activity for the rain, because you get wet anyway!
Can I wear shoes?
No trainers, or hard soled shoes are allowed on the aqua park. Most people go on barefooted, we do sell some wetsuit boots in the reception if you want to buy a pair.
How long will I be at the park for?
The total time at The Adventure Dock will be just over 1 hour 45 minutes. You will need 30 minutes before your session to sign in and get ready, then your play time is 1 hour and that is followed by approximately 15 mins to get changed.
